In Bavaria, enrolled students (at THI or KU EI-IN) can order a discounted Deutschlandticket. It costs 29,00 Euro per month, is non-transferable and can be used on local public transport throughout Germany.
Students will be able to order their reduced-price Deutschlandticket from the VGI from the winter semester 2023/24 onwards. The prerequisite for this is being enrolled at the Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt or the Katholische Universität Eichstätt - Ingolstadt. For this purpose, a query of the enrollment status will be made via Shibboleth.

The subscription is only valid for the period of one semester. After the end of a semester, the Deutschlandticket must be ordered again for another semester.
