Buses of the INVG – Ingolstadt’s transport company – and the transport association of the region Ingolstadt, VGI, operate with their regular schedule from April 27, 2020 to ensure that children can get to school and other people to work – including the AUDI AG - easily.
Yet, for example, the protective barrier at the driver’s cabin still maintains. Additionally, wearing a face-mask that covers mouth and nose is mandatory in bus and train, starting Monday, 27 April, 2020.
A simple protection of mouth and nose is sufficient. For example, surgical masks, self-made fabric make-ups, or simply a scarf or neckerchief. Certificated respiratory masks are not necessary to wear.
Mouth and nose must be covered during the entire duration in means of transport and facilities of the public transport, such as waiting areas of bus and train.
All passengers of public transport are obligated to cover up their mouth and nose – with the exception of the driver.
Children from the age 6 onwards are also included in the obligation of wearing a face mask.
No! Keeping the minimum distance of 1.5 meters is still mandatory between people. Covering mouth and nose should protect everyone additionally to the minimum distance.
